Arsenal and Danish international striker Nicklas Bendtner has sent his agent to various clubs in the league in order to potentially seal an exit from Arsenal in the last few days of the transfer window. Arsenal have said that they will demand just £ 5 million for the 24-year-old, who has been angling for a move away from the Emirates stadium for quite a while now. Nicklas Bendtner has already said that he would not like to play for Arsenal again, but with only a few days of the transfer window remaining, his future has been uncertain. Nicklas Bendtner spent the last season on loan at Sunderland, but he decided not to make the move permanent.
It is thought that Nicklas Bendtner’s agent will be discussing terms with the likes of the AC Milan, Inter Milan, Juventus and Fiorentina over the possibility of a potential move. The player is currently on £ 50,000 per week at Arsenal, while his looking at £ 70,000 per week when signing his new contract. However, he is unlikely to get the deal that he wants due to the lack of interest from other clubs. Nicklas Bendtner had a brilliant Euro 2012, but it seems to have vanished into thin air in the memories of the potential clubs due to the baggage that he may bring to the dressing room.
Nicklas Bendtner is regarded as someone with a massive ego and potential clubs have not shown an interest in the player, despite the Danish international scoring three goals at the Euro 2012. Other than the Italian clubs, only West Ham United have shown interest in the player. It remains to be seen if Bendtner will want to play for West Ham given that they were only recently promoted. Only AC Milan have shown an interest in the player up until now.
